Documented gang member accused of choking person, firing shot in home with children

A registered felon and documented gang member was arrested after deputies said he choked a person and fired a shot inside a Kissimmee home on Saturday.

KISSIMMEE, Fla. — The Osceola County Sheriff's Office said deputies responded at about 7 p.m. to a home on Macy Island Road in reference to a domestic dispute.

Deputies said Jesus Sanchez, 32, became angry when he saw a friend inside the home. Sanchez began yelling and choking the victim in front of children, deputies said.

Authorities said Sanchez pulled out a gun and fired a shot before leaving the area with the gun.

Deputies said they obtained an arrest warrant for Sanchez. Investigators said they found Sanchez on Sunday and arrested him.

Sanchez was arrested and booked into the Osceola County Jail without bail.
