DOJ probes Ibragim Todashev FBI shooting death

ORLANDO, Fla. — The Department of Justice, along with the U.S. Attorney's Office, has launched a federal probe into the death of a man who was shot and killed by an FBI agent in Orlando.

Ibragim Todashev was being questioned in an Orlando apartment in May about a triple murder in the Boston area involving one of the Boston bombing suspects.

The FBI claims an agent shot him when he became combative, but his family calls their son's death a case of excessive force.
