DUI arrest made after Marion Sheriff reports reckless driver

MARION COUNTY, Fla. — An Ocala man who appeared to be driving in a reckless fashion caught the eye of Marion County Sheriff Chris Blair Tuesday night, according to the sheriff's office.

According to the sheriff's office, Blair spotted a car driving recklessly on State Road 326 around 11:30 p.m.

Blair called for a patrol unit and followed the car to a grocery store parking lot.

A sheriff's spokesman said a deputy arrived and conducted a field sobriety test on the car's driver, Andrew Reid Adair.

Officials said Adair, 23, failed the sobriety test and was arrested.

At the Marion County Jail Adair submitted to a breath test and blew a .16, according to investigators.

Adair was charged with driving under the influence.
