ORLANDO, Fla. - Edgewater High School, Lee Middle School and Princeton Elementary School in College Park were on lockdown because of police activity in the area for about 45 minutes Tuesday afternoon.
Orlando police said they had cleared the area and they lifted the lockdown around 2:30 p.m.
Police said they were searching for a man involved in a vehicle break in in the 2800 block of Edgewater Drive.
According to police a witness reported seeing a man breaking into a vehicle. Then the witness approach the man he displayed a gun and then fled.
Police said they were searching for a black or Hispanic male with a camo-type rain coat.
