1 killed in fiery New Smyrna Beach I-95 crash

NEW SMYRNA BEACH, Fla. — A fiery fatal wreck shut down part of I-95 for hours overnight, but the road has since reopened.

Emergency crews rushed to the scene along I-95 between New Smyrna Beach and Port Orange, where an SUV collided with a tractor-trailer.

The tractor-trailer ended up in the woods and the SUV was crushed.

Troopers said one person, whose name was not released, was killed in the crash.
