ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. - An Orlando man died in an early morning, single-vehicle crash on University Boulevard Monday.
Florida Highway Patrol troopers said James West, 24, was killed after his car overturned.
According to troopers, West was driving on University Boulevard near Orange Lake Drive when he lost control of his car and left the road.
Troopers said the car struck several trees before the roof of the car struck a pole.
West was taken to Florida Hospital East where he was pronounced dead, troopers said.
Troopers closed westbound University for several hours while they investigated the accident.
