FHP: Deputy, driver suffer minor injuries after crash

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — An Orange County deputy and a driver are recovering from minor injuries after a crash near SeaWorld Saturday.

Deputies said the marked patrol car was responding to a call and had its sirens on about 9:30 a.m.

The driver of a Chrysler reportedly failed to yield to the deputy and T-boned the patrol car at Central Florida Parkway and International Drive in front of the SeaWorld entrance.

The deputy and the driver were transported with minor injuries.

The crash forced authortities to shut down part of the road.
