ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — FHP troopers say a man was killed in a rollover crash on State Road 429 in Orange County Saturday morning.

The crash happened on northbound SR 429 near Western Way around 6:00 a.m.

Troopers say a pickup truck with a trailer attached overturned when the driver, identified as 39-year-old Toby Lee Case, lost control. In addition to Case, three passengers were in the cab of the pickup, while two more passengers were in the bed of the truck, troopers say. The two men in the bed of the truck were thrown onto the roadway.

50-year-old Gary Colgin was one of the men in the truck bed and was pronounced deceased on scene. The second man, who's identity has not been released, is in critical condition at Orlando Regional Medical Center. The remaining occupants all suffered minor injuries.

Those who have been identified are from Lakeland.

Officials say the crash remains under investigation and charges are pending.
