ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. —

A party around a bonfire led to a house fire in Apopka Sunday night, according to Orange County Fire officials.

Firefighters said more than half of the Glover Lane house was on fire when they arrived.

According to firefighters, people at the house spent Sunday evening around a bonfire. They went into their home believing the bonfire was out.

"They were getting ready to go to bed when they saw a light from the back of the house. When they investigated, they saw flames coming from the bathroom window," said Orange County Fire Battalion Chief Billy Richardson.

The home was destroyed in the fire. No one was injured.

The fire marshal's office is investigating the fire.
