Five injured in head-on crash in Orange County

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Five people were injured in a head-on crash on Powers Drive in Orange County Wednesday morning, according to officials.

The crash happened around 9:30 a.m. in the 1400 block of Powers Drive, Orange County Fire Rescue said.

The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the crash that officials said was a head-on collision between two vehicles.

There were five people, including one juvenile, involved in the crash. One patient had to be rushed to Orlando Regional Medical Center, officials said.

The crash blocked Powers Drive, but the roadway has since reopened.
