PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. - A Florida man took his fishing talents to the next level when he caught a hammerhead shark at a fishing tournament over the weekend.
During the black tip challenge annual fishing tournament, Palm Beach County resident Peter Buban caught something larger than normal.
After attempting to reel the shark in for nearly an hour, Buban finally landed the 13-foot, 1,000-pound hammerhead.
Buban won the title for the largest fish ever caught in the competition and said the catch was his personal best.
