A Brevard County neighborhood got quite the surprise Wednesday when a 6-foot-long gator wandered from house to house.
A girl spotted the gator in her yard and told her dad, who then chased it across the street into a neighbor's yard.
The neighbors called authorities, who came out to catch the animal.
The trapper said alligator sightings may become more common across central Florida because it's mating season and the male alligators are becoming more active.
