VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. - A 25-year-old Georgia man was killed Tuesday in Volusia County after he was run over by his own truck which had stalled in the driveway of a home in the 1900 block of Camp South Moon Road, troopers said.
Jase Kanger had gotten out of a 2000 Dodge pickup truck when it stalled after he put it in reverse, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

As he was jump-starting the truck, it restarted while still in reverse and Kanger was run over as it started moving backwards, troopers said.
Kelsi Kanger, Jase Kanger’s wife, was able to stop the truck, investigators said.
Jase Kanger was taken to Halifax Hospital where he was pronounced dead, troopers said.
An investigation into his death is ongoing.
