Girl says man flashed her, offered ride at Kissimmee school bus stop

OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. - An accused flasher is on the loose Monday.

A 16-year-old girl told deputies in Osceola County that a man flashed her while she was waiting at the bus stop.

The teen claims the suspect approached her on Garden Street in Kissimmee on Friday, and exposed himself after making an inappropriate comment.

The teen said the man offered her a ride first.

Many parents in the Marydia community are worried.

One mother and grandmother couldn't hold back tears as they expressed concern.

Paula Johnson said the man approached the girl at her bus stop.

"It's hard to believe people are still like that," Paula Johnson said.

Mom Melissa Banton said the scare is enough to make her change her routine.

"That's very scary because I have my two kids who have to go to the stop," Banton said. "I'm going to drive them to the bus stop now."

The suspect is described as a thin, light skinned Hispanic man in his mid 30's with short black or brown hair. The car is a white four door with "wrap-around" headlights, stock rims and a tan cloth interior.

The Osceola County Sheriff's Office said detectives are following up on some leads but nothing has led to the suspect yet.
