ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. - Governor Rick Scott will make a proposal that would give Florida teachers debit cards to help pay for classroom supplies.
Private donations could be sought to help pay for the debit cards, which Governor Scott said would prevent teachers from having to pay out-of-pocket for classroom supplies.
Scott is expected to make the proposal Thursday at an education conference.
