DELAND, Fla. - The city of DeLand has a few weeks left to respond to a national group that wants leaders to change the city's seal because it has a cross on it.

Americans United for Separation of Church and State sent a letter stating the seal symbolizes Christian theological virtues.

City officials said the seal dates back to 1882 and symbolizes faith, hope and charity.
