• Gunfire erupts at Orange County motel


    ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. - Deputies are trying to find out what led to a shooting at an Orange County motel.

    Officers were called to the Countryside Inn on Lee Road around 11:45 Friday night after reports of shots fired.

    Deputies said when they got to the scene the victim and the shooter were gone.

    They said the victim later turned up at a local hospital with a gunshot wound and was in possession of drugs.

    Deputies said the victim is not cooperating with the investigation.

    They’re looking for a silver Nissan Altima they said may be connected to the shooting.
