OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. - Osceola County children in need are getting school clothes Wednesday at the Plaza Del Sol Mall.

Officials estimate that there are 4,000 homeless children in Osceola County.

Assistance League is a national organization that raises money for such events.

But this time, the store, Fallas, decided to donate the clothes so that the organization didn't have to raise the money.

Nine-hundred students in Osceola County are getting two uniforms, socks, underwear and shoes.

Wednesday, 150 students from Highlands Elementary School, Central Avenue Elementary School and Kissimmee Elementary School walked around with the volunteers to pick out their clothes.

Each school identified 300 students who needed help the most. They only have so much room and time, so they started with 150 on Wednesday and the rest will get vouchers to come back and pick out clothing.

One boy told a volunteer, "I just love this special day."
