ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. - Orange County authorities said no methamphetamine lab was found in a home that was reportedly was emitting a strong odor Tuesday.
Officials said they thought the home on Spartan Drive contained a meth lab.
The call came in by a person in the neighborhood who said he thought he smelled the odor of someone cooking meth. Deputies at the scene said they agreed and called in hazmat crews.
Hazmat crews suited up and went into the home to investigate, but found no signs of a meth lab.
Crews said they found strong, undiluted chemicals used as pesticide around the home.
Officials said the home is unoccupied and condemned.
