Husband, wife found dead in Palm Bay home

PALM BAY, Fla. — A husband and wife were found dead inside their Palm Bay home Tuesday afternoon, police said.

The couple was discovered dead by their son who showed up to pick up a package at a home at 990 Brocksmith Street SE, police said.

"I just came outside and just heard the son screaming and I just grabbed onto him to comfort him and you know saying to him, ‘What's going on? Are you alright? Are you alright?’ And he said, ‘They’re both gone, both my parents are gone,'” neighbor Diane Clark said.

Police have called the deaths suspicious and said they do not believe the deaths were random.

"I'm going to miss them. I just can't believe it. I'm just going to have to pray for their son," Clark told Channel 9's Jeff Deal.

Police said the man was in his early 60s, his wife is in her late 60s. Their son last saw them alive on Sunday, police said. Their names have not been released.
