Deputies find missing baby, teen parents

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla.,None - Orange County deputies have located a baby boy, his teen mother and father who officials say is a registered sex offender.

Officials say 18-year-old Orlando mother Jessica Gonzalez and her baby left with 17-year-old Sean Schwartz, the baby's father and a sex offender.

The baby’s grandmother called police on January 21st when her daughter and the 1-year-old did not return home.

Deputies say the two were spotted with Schwartz walking along U.S. 192 near Armstrong Boulevard in Kissimmee around 9:00 a.m. Friday.

Deputues say no one had contact with Jessica Gonzalez and the baby, Michael Gonzalez since they were reported missing.

Schwartz is a registered sex offender in the state of Florida and is only allowed supervised visits with the baby.

“Obviously there is a history with this young man regarding a prior incident with him and he has a criminal record, and again we are concerned with the child’s safety,” said Captain Angelo Nieves with the Orange County Sheriff's Office.

According to FDLE sex offender records, Schwartz was convicted of lewd and lascivious molestation in 2010.

Gonzalez’s was living with her son at a home on Bonneville Road in east Orange County.

“What we are trying to do right now is determine the safety of the child. Make sure he’s doing well,” said Captain Nieves.

The Department of Children and Families is also investigating.
