Kitten found under hood of car after traveling 50 miles into Fla.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — A curious kitten decided to cross state lines and hitch a ride into Florida underneath the hood of a Georgia woman's car.

The kitten traveled nearly 50 miles to Tallahassee, where the woman took her car to a mechanic after hearing noises.

"This little guy was hopelessly stuck down into this part of the car just inches away from turning belts, fans and everything else bad," said mechanic Curtis White.

The cat was treated to some milk after his ordeal and now has a new home with one of the woman's co-workers.
