LAKE COUNTY, Fla. — A barred owl in Mount Dora was released into the wild after it was rescued from a grill of a pickup truck.
Lake County Fire Rescue helped get
the owl out of the grill last month.
Fire Rescue handed the bird to wildlife officials so it could recover from a fractured tibia.
“Great teamwork to see this owl from rehab to release,” said LCFR in a Facebook post.
