Major shift change begins on I-4 at Kirkman Road

Drivers commuting on a busy section of east Interstate 4 in Orange County will see some major changes.
Lanes on a 1 1/2-mile stretch of the road have shifted.
Drivers looking to exit onto North Kirkman Road must look for the exit on the right, instead of the left.
The exit is near the tourist district.
Drivers said they hope their fellow travelers pay attention to the warning signs.
“It’s going to mess up a lot of people, like they’re going to not know where to go,” said driver Phillip Moushon.
An I-4 Ultimate project spokesperson said it could take up to 45 days for GPS apps to update.
Most construction is expected to wrap up in the area by 2019.
The new express lanes won’t open until 2021.
