PINE HILLS, Fla. —

Deputies said an Orange County man tried to have sex with a woman and when she turned him down, he sexually battered an 8-year-old girl.

There were too many redactions in the arrest report to figure out who the woman is and how she knows the 8-year-old, but it is clear she was supposed to be taking care of her, according to Channel 9's Tim Barber.

Orange County deputies said a woman invited Dinanath Rosa home after attending a party together at a Pine Hills event center.

But when Rosa wanted to get intimate, the woman said she asked him to leave. But later that night, the woman woke up and found the 8-year-old she was taking care of had been sexually assaulted.

Investigators said the victim identified Rosa in a photo lineup. He was arrested and charged with sexual battery.

Coincidentally, Rosa was already facing charges for a standoff situation Skywitness 9 HD flew over earlier this week, which deputies said stemmed from him stealing a television.

"He seemed a little weird to me since he moved in, not friendly, you know," said Rosa neighbor, Brittnay Williams. "Just, he never really spoke to anybody."

A judge denied bond for Rosa.
