ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. - Orange County deputies say an accused rapist is behind bars Thursday because he wore a work shirt with his name on it during the attack.

The 14-year-old victim was allegedly raped by Robert Jimenez in the parking lot of an east Orange County Bank of America near Chickasaw Trail and Valencia College Lane and at the man's apartment on Willow Pond Court.

Investigators interviewed the 14-year-old Wednesday when the attack happened and, according to a report, locked the suspect up at the Orange County Jail in less than 24 hours.

Detectives say the 42-year-old Jimenez forced the 14-year-old girl into his car while she was walking through her Orange County neighborhood.

Jimenez parked his silver van in the parking lot of a Bank of America and allegedly threatened to hurt her if she did not perform sex acts.

Investigators said he bought her food and drove to his apartment to rape her again.

Detectives got him because the 14-year-old girl noticed he was wearing an Advanced Auto Parts shirt with his name on it.

His co-workers said they were shocked because he seemed like a nice guy, although he had only been working there a few weeks.

Jimenez was going to drop the girl off at home but deputies were in the driveway, so he kicked her out of the van around the corner and she walked to a gas station, where she met up with her mom, according to investigators.

The 14-year-old picked Jimenez's picture out of a photo line-up.

He is being held in the Orange County Jail without bond on sexual battery and kidnapping charges.
