Man in van arrested after allegedly exposing self to women

ORLANDO, Fla. — A man who police said exposed himself to women from his van in Orlando was arrested Friday night.

All the man had on when he was put in handcuffs on West Colonial Drive and Hastings Street was a shirt and boxer briefs, police said.

An eyewitness said he exposed himself to people near Metro Place Apartments on Kirkman Road, then sped off.

One woman was too afraid to show her face during the interview, but she wasn't afraid to take action after the indecent incident: Her mother told her to get in the car, and then the two followed the man while on the phone with 911.

Orlando police and Orange County deputies stopped the man in a van.

One woman, who did not want to be identified, saw the arrest.

"Once they drew the guns, I seen the suspect try to drive off. Like he hit the vehicle in front of him," she said.

The man did not say anything when Channel 9's Ryan Hughes asked for comment.

It's unclear if the man exposed himself to other people. The apparent victims seem to think so.

"That's disgusting. It's sick. Like he is really sick. He's a psychopath," said the first alleged victim.

Police said the man is official under arrest but have not said what he will be charged with.
