NAPLES, Fla. (AP) — A Naples man remains behind bars after authorities say he rode his bicycle while intoxicated and refused to pull over.
Collier County jail records show 46-year-old Mark Anthony Weeks was arrested Thursday night on several charges including DUI, resisting arrest without violence, refusing a breath test and eluding deputies. He's being held on $24,000 bond and his next court date is scheduled for Sept. 23.
It's not immediately known if he has an attorney.
The Naples Daily News reports (http://bit.ly/1fqzMeW ) that Weeks told deputies he has a hearing problem and didn't notice their sirens as he pedaled home.
Jail records show this is his fifth DUI charge.
