OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. — The Florida Highway Patrol said a man was killed in a crash on the Turnpike in Osceola County Monday afternoon.
Troopers said the crash happened shortly after 1:30 p.m. in the northbound lanes of the Turnpike near mile marker 246.
Investigators said the male driver of a Lexus SUV lost control of the vehicle for unknown reasons. The SUV overturned and landed on its roof in the southbound lanes.
The driver, who hasn't been identified, was killed in the crash. He was the only occupant in the vehicle, FHP said.
