Kendall Rockmore - Accused of robbing pharmacy in Pierson, Florida.

A 27-year-old man was charged Sunday for the Nov. 17 robbery of the Pierson Community Pharmacy in Pierson, where he locked several employees in the trunks of their cars and stole $65,000 in pills, Volusia County detectives said.
Kendall Rockmore, who was recently released from prison and has been in custody since last week on other charges, is charged with one count of robbery with a firearm, four counts of kidnapping, grand theft, trafficking Oxycodone, trafficking Hydromorphone and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, detectives said.

No one was injured in the robbery, but one of the victims was eight months pregnant at the time, and when she told the Rockmore it was difficult for her to get into the trunk, she said he threatened to kill her and her unborn child if she didn’t listen, deputies said.
As detectives reviewed the footage of Rockmore picking up his medicine days before the robbery, they noticed that he was wearing the same pants and shoes that he wore during the robbery, Volusia County authorities said.
Detectives said Rockmore had the same distinct walk as the robber.
Investigators said when the pharmacy owner watched the videos, he said to detectives, “I can’t believe that idiot wore the same thing.”
Rockmore, who was released from prison in September after serving about nine years for aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, was being held without bail at the Volusia County Branch Jail.
