Man seriously injured in shooting on Silver Star Road, deputies say

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — A 25-year-old man found in the parking lot of an Orange County gas station was suffering from a “life-threatening” gunshot wound when deputies arrived at the scene, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office said.

The shooting happened at about 11:22 p.m. at a Chevron gas station, located at 5419 Silver Star Road, deputies said.

The 25-year-old victim, who was not identified, was taken to the hospital for treatment, investigators said. He is listed in critical condition.

The shooter was described as a black male driving a dark-colored vehicle, deputies said.

No other description of the man or his vehicle were released. %

Deputies were investigating the shooting but currently, “the events leading up to the shooting are unclear,” the sheriff’s office said in a release.
