Man, 19, found shot to death outside Orlando apartment complex

ORLANDO, Fla. — Orange County deputies said they hope witnesses can help them find the person who shot and killed a 19-year-old man late Monday night.

Detectives said several people saw and heard the incident near the Sommerset apartments on Lee Road in Orlando.

Some of the witnesses called 911.

"There were multiple people behind the complex in a cluster.  Once deputies were able to get everything sorted out, they found a 19-year-old Hispanic male victim," said Jeff Williamson of the Orange County Sheriff's Office.

Orange County Fire Rescue pronounced John Malagon dead at the scene.

Deputies said they are often called to the complex to investigate reports of trouble.

Officers said they found several shell casings at the scene.

Investigators said no arrests were made.
