Man shot during robbery at Winter Park home

WINTER PARK, Fla. — Winter Park police are looking for at least three people involved in a robbery in which one person was shot.

Officers were called to the 600 block of Swoope Avenue just after 3 a.m. for reports of a shooting.

Police say the suspects were attempting to rob the victim when shots were fired in the home.

There were more people inside at the time but only one person was injured by the gunfire.

The victim was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive.

Police released no information on the three suspects.

They say this was an isolated incident and emphasized that there was no threat to the community.
