MAITLAND, Fla. - A man was shot and killed outside a home near Maitland, and the person who pulled the trigger is still on the run, police said.
Orange County deputies said witnesses told them the man had been into some sort of argument with two other men before he was killed about 3 a.m. Friday outside a home on Nuese Avenue.
Witnesses said there was a barbecue at the house on Thursday and that people stayed late into the evening. When additional cars showed up, there was an argument between the victim and two others shortly before the shots were fired.
A woman told detectives the conflict had been a brewing feud that ultimately led to the shooting.
The victim is in his late 20s, but police have not released his name.
Investigators have not said whether they have identified any suspects in the killing.
