MARION COUNTY, Fla. - Cops in Marion County say 42-year-old Bruce Robinson is accused of sexual battery of an underage girl – again.

Eyewitness News found out he was arrested Friday after the alleged victim told investigators Robinson tried recruiting her as a sex worker.

The attack allegedly happened when the girl rebuffed his offer.

His Fourth Street address is across the street from a day care.

Evelyn VanDyke owns the day care. She knew Robinson was a registered sex offender, but had no idea he was just locked up again.

"Yeah, that is kind of shocking news. Very shocking news," VanDyke said.

She said she was going to keep a closer eye on the kids.

Robinson has been in the Florida Department of Law Enforcement sex offender database since 1992 when he was convicted of his first sex battery charge.

People at the home where he lived did not want to comment.
