Scene cleared after bomb threat evacuation at Melbourne H.S.


MELBOURNE, Fla. - Officers have cleared the scene at Melbourne High School after it was evacuated due to a bomb threat Tuesday, authorities said.

Students were taken to an auditorium, after the bomb threat was called in, WFTV found out.

Authorities used K-9 to search the area, but found nothing.

There were no injuries reported.

Students were allowed to go back to class or go home with parents who showed up at the school.
