PUTNAM COUNTY, Fla. - Three Putnam County men confessed to stealing a 9-foot-tall chicken statue, authorities said.
Darrin Edwards, Tyler Jones and James Smith were tracked down by detectives and arrested.
The man who owned the statue said he watched as one of the men hopped on the chicken and was towed down the road by a truck for a mile.
Authorities said the suspects then unhooked it and took off.
