Merritt Island realty agent finds 9-foot gator in backyard pool

BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. - A real-estate agent checking on a Merritt Island property found a squatter, of sorts.

An alligator was in the backyard pool.

The Brevard County Sheriff's Office called Florida Fish and Wildlife, which sent a trapper to dispatch the 8 foot 10 inch gator.

Officials said it was the second gator the trapper had to remove from that address.
