MIAMI - A teenager has been airlifted to the hospital after being shot on a school bus.
Police Det. Alvaro Zabaleta says a 13-year old girl was shot and investigators are also questioning a male about the shooting, but it's unclear if he is a student.
The victim's condition was not known.
Concerned parents gathered at the scene which was cordoned off by crime scene tape. It's unclear how many students were on the bus at the time of the shooting.
School officials say the principal walked to each classroom to check on students after learning about the shooting and that everything was fine. Grief counselors are also on their way to the charter school.
