Missing, endangered teen found safe in Orange County

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — UPDATE: Odai Dixon has been found safe, deputies said. He walked into a Walmart and communicated to security that he was lost.

EARLIER: The Orange County Sheriff's Office needs help finding an 18-year-old man who wandered from his home.

Deputies said Odai Dixon has a diminished mental capacity and a severe speech impediment.

He wandered from his home in the Beacon Hill Apartments on Dorcher Road and Balboa Drives early Wednesday.

Dixon was last seen wearing a red shirt with a white design on the chest area that included a white cross, blue jeans, and white socks with no shoes.

Someone reported seeing Dixon at the Family Dollar store on Apopka Vineland Road and Balboa Drive at about 8 a.m.

Deputies said Dixon communicated using sign language.
