Neighbors find man's body floating in Lake Ivanhoe

ORLANDO, Fla. — Orlando police are working to identify the body of a man who was pulled out of Lake Ivanhoe.

Witnesses spotted the man's body floating in the lake at about 6 p.m. Tuesday.

Investigators said they believe the man was a transient, and that he accidentally drowned.

A neighbor who did not want to be identified said her daughter saw the man walking near the lake not long before his body was discovered.

"Horrible for my daughter to witness it, and just feel very sad for the man. Very, very sad," she said.

The witnesses told police that the man appeared to be drunk as he wandered close to the lake, and may have accidently fallen in the water.
