NJ man killed after car strikes light pole in Osceola County

OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. — A New Jersey man was killed after his car veered off the road in Osceola County Sunday.

Florida Highway Patrol troopers said Mark Rovner, 51, of Parsippany, N.J., was involved in the fatal accident early Sunday morning at 5:45 a.m.

Rovner was headed south on Celebration Avenue approaching the intersection of State Road 417 when his Dodge Ram veered off and struck a light pole, troopers said.

The crash was not alcohol-related, according to a report.
