VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. - Volusia County's 911 system has been restored after it began experiencing intermittent problems throughout the area early Wednesday, officials said.
Due to the problems, some callers were unable to reach 911 and were receiving a recording. The situation appeared to have affected callers from both landline and cellphones, officials said.
Volusia County officials said if that situation happens, callers should hang up and immediately dial
386-252-4911 to reach the Sheriff's Office's Emergency Communications Center.
