Vet tech accused of abusing dog speaks out

ORLANDO, Fla. — An Orange County animal hospital worker caught on video allegedly abusing a small dog spoke out Monday.

The alleged abuse happened at the Emergency Pet Hospital of Orlando.

Video shows Stefanie Stasse pick up the dog by its leash.

In a statement, she said she never hurt the dog and said she's saved several dogs from being euthanized.

The case has been turned over to the state attorney's office, which will decide if she'll face any charges.
