Ormond Beach police investigate possible murder-suicide

ORMOND BEACH, Fla. — Ormond Beach police said they are investigating what appears to be a murder-suicide Friday.

Investigators said they received a 911 call from a house on Ribbon Falls Drive just after midnight.

Police said the man called 911 saying he shot his wife, and then police believe he turned the gun on himself.

The caller also told police that the woman suffered from Alzheimer's disease.

Detectives are still gathering evidence at the home.

The names of those involved were not released.
