Pedestrian struck, killed by train in Altamonte Springs

ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla. — Police were called to Altamonte Springs after someone was struck by a train Friday afternoon.

The victim was struck and killed about 4 p.m. on Morse Street, authorities said.

The roadway is closed near Station Street as authorities investigate.

The name of the victim has not been released.
