Person hit by smart car on Semoran Boulevard

ORLANDO, Fla. — One person was hospitalized in Orange County after being struck by a smart car along Semoran Boulevard Monday night.

Witnesses said the victim walked into traffic near the Stonewall Jackson Road intersection about 9 p.m.

Troopers have not released the victim’s name or condition.

Semoran Boulevard was closed for almost two hours following the accident.

Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
