Person of interest sought after woman says man tried to kidnap son at Aquatica

Orange County deputies need help identifying a man suspected of involvement in an attempted kidnapping at Aquatica.
Deputies released a composite sketch Wednesday of a man who they said is a person of interest in the incident, which they said happened Thursday.
Kayla Seymour said a man tried kidnapping her 4-year-old son while he was standing next to her in front of the lockers.
“It happened within seconds of me turning around,” Seymour said. “It was a blink of an eye and my son’s being dragged off in an opposite direction.”
She said no one came to help.
“I was yelling, ‘Someone had my son.’ And my son was screaming for help,” she said.
Seymour said she had to spring into action herself.
“Once I caught up with the man, I kicked him in the back of the knee and I punched him in the face,” she said.
SeaWorld Aquatica said it had reviewed video of the area and has no images of the alleged incident.
They said it was not reported to security at the park.
Deputies said the delay in reporting makes it harder to catch the would-be kidnapper.
Seymour said she thought security documented the event and added that the incident was very traumatic for her son.
“He’s having nightmares. He has had them the last few nights. He’s been scared,” she said.
Deputies said SeaWorld is being cooperative with the investigation and they are meeting with Seymour again.
