Police: 2 men found shot to death in apparent murder-suicide

ORLANDO, Fla. — Two men were found shot to death Friday in the parking lot of a hotel near Orlando International Airport.

When officers arrived at the Ramada Inn on Augusta National Drive about 7:30 p.m., they found the two men dead.

Police later said they were investigating the shooting as a murder-suicide, but it’s unclear how the two knew each other.

No suspects are at large or being looked for, according to police.

Hotel guests said the two men appeared to be related, but police aren’t going into detail.

Police said the men's bodies were found between two vehicles.

Officers put up barricades around the scene.

“I hear that they’re family members, but yeah, I do feel for them, the rest of the families,” said hotel guest Simon Broughton.

Broughton is visiting from the UK.

“This is just one incident. You never know what you’ll run into when you’re on holiday,” he said.

Guests said they were shaken up when they found out what happened.

“I was inside my room and then I came out. There were lights and cops everywhere,” said Diego Ochoa.

The Orlando Police Department’s Homicide Unit is investigating the shooting.
