Ocala police said they arrested a voyeur who
secretly recorded video from under the dresses of several women.
Investigators said 64-year-old Albert Sebring used a camcorder to videotape five women in September.
Police said it happened in the big crowds of the Craftober Fest celebration in downtown Ocala.
"Officers were approached by a male who advised that a man was videotaping under the skirts of women," said Ocala police Sgt. Chaz Maier.
Ocala police said the person filming was Sebring. Police said it happened Sept. 29, and they detained
him and found the videos on a red video camera.
"They were appalled, very upset. They felt violated," said Maier.
After an investigation, Sebring was arrested Friday.
Downtown Ocala business owners are shocked.
"I think it's the last thing you should be worried about when you go to an event downtown," said business owner Shannon Roth.
Police said Sebring is from Ohio, and they're not sure what he was doing in Ocala.
Nicole Dishman works in downtown. She said she's just glad someone saw what was going on and alerted police.
"Not really sure legally how everything would work out, but I think he deserves what he will get," she said.
